**Minimum requirements**:
- Experience managing a small team.
- Experience working with farm animals, whether formally or informally.
- Fluent in both written and verbal Afrikaans and English.
- Exceptional people skills - both public-facing in a hospitality context and working within a small team internally. Previous experience in a hospitality or tourism context would be beneficial.
- Reliable and well-organised.
- A proactive, problem-solver attitude is crucial.
**Responsibilities**:
- Arrange for the training and apprenticeships of interpreters to learn the necessary specialist skills required for historical demonstrations.
- Manage the team of hosts (including shift management, some HR admin) and oversee daily operations of activities on the site.
- General administration regarding activity management on the site, including liaising with the maintenance and gardening teams, as well as the retail team regarding on-site production of items for sale.
