**Role Purpose**
An exciting opportunity exists for a nearly/newly qualified actuary within the Corporate Actuarial team that focuses on the Momentum Corporate Group Risk Product Range. The individual will be responsible for various aspects of actuarial valuations, liabilities, analysis of surplus, budgets, cash flow projections and sensitivities for IFRS, SAM and Embedded Value reporting.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Sciences
- Nearly / newly qualified actuary with good progress in completing normative skills to become a Fellow
- Three to five years' working experience in valuation and/or reporting role
- A good working knowledge of the MS-Office packages, specifically Excel and Word
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities will be a distinct advantage
- Experience in actuarial modelling software will be an advantage
- An understanding of and experience with the Group Risk product range will be an advantage
**Duties &
Responsibilities**
- Preparing and analyzing input data.
- Quarterly profit reporting as well as preparing the relevant statutory reporting information.
- Quarterly Embedded Value and Value of New Business calculations.
- Detailed analysis of the results to assist management to manage the book of business pro-actively.
- Calculation of the capital requirements relating to the product range.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing the necessary changes after collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Assisting with implementing the IFRS17 requirements relating to the product range.
- Providing reporting information required for ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment).
- Stress testing e.G., EV sensitivities.
- Assisting in the annual budget process.
- Quarterly forecasting.
- Annual basis reviews.
