Assistant Maintenance Manager - Wine Estate

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for a beautiful Wine Estate based in Franschhoek. We are looking for someone who is passionate about maintenance, planning and organizing to become part of the team!
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree / BTech diploma in facility management or similar field or similar work experience.
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Computer literate (Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must have relevant Planned Maintenance Training
- Experience in the hospitality sector will be an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Organizational and time management skills
- A valid driver’s license
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as liaison between operations and maintenance
- To improve workforce productivity and work quality
- Eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts, material and equipment access.
- Responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters
- Job knowledge for what needs to be done, required labour hours etc
- Coordinate equipment downtime
- Responsible for ongoing planned and yearly shut down maintenance.
- Assist with development of annual overhaul/shutdown schedules
- Assist with all administrative related tasks
- Maintain workshop (receiving and dispatch of stock to site)
