ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Banqueting and Sales Coordinator who has had previous work experience in 4- and 5- star hotels/resorts, dealing with conferences, weddings and events. Scope &
General purpose:
- Dealing with group &
conference enquiries, from initial request, site inspection, quotation to finalization of program and on-site co-ordination.
- Wedding co-ordination from initial request, site inspection, quotation and on-site co-ordination of the event.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of property site inspections, trade shows and sales trips - Assist with sales and marketing of the function venues and offerings - Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material - Respond to queries and assist our customers when requested - Store and sort data in electronic form and present reports Requirements:
- Proven experience in banqueting and sales co-ordination - Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint) - Proficiency in English - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problemsolving - Works well and accurately under pressure A team player with high level of dedication SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Microsoft Office - Property PMS systems - Nebula would be a bonus
