The biggest insurer in AFRICA is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to optimize the Analytics function and dominate the BI Market.
**Job &
Company Description**:
You will be responsible for the development of dashboards and reports to aid the business in day-day decisions as well as maintenance of existing reports. You will also be responsible for automating and driving improvement in manual processes. Lastly, you will need to conduct data reconciliations from off-platform data sources and produce reports and insights from such data.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Sciences, Data Science, Actuarial Science or Business Analysis
- BI Certification (e.G. Microsoft MCITP, Kimball Certification, etc.) would serve as an advantage.
**Job Experience &
Skills Required**:
- 5 years experience in any of the following disciplines:
Exposure to any reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Crystal Reports.
Exposure to database design and data modeling
- 5 years of Microsoft SQL experience. MCTS / MCITP preferential (2008+).
- SSIS design and development of ETL workflows
- Experience with data warehouse architecture and data modeling for reporting and analytics
- Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change
