Responsibilities
Drive and manage the continuous development and upgrade of the businesss internal communications app and also external website Develop various organisational internal and external electronic and hard copy documentation like magazines, information brochures, investor and board packs, etc Develop social media strategy for the organisation and manage the daytoday social media platforms FB, Instagram and Twitter Assist various internal business divisions to develop documents, newsletters, app and website publications, etc Prepare press releases/media statements when necessary. Provide Bulk SMS support for general communication initiatives. Ongoing development of divisional PowerPoint slides for use by staff Ongoing review of signature, posters, investment guides, letterheads, business cards, etcManage relevant divisional SLAs with service providers
Experience
Managing brand communications via social media channels Developing media and/or marketing strategies Developing/managing social media strategies for a brand or company Project management events/campaigns/brand building/publications At least 5 years experience working in a newsroom and/or communications and/or marketing agency. Minimum 3 years experience in a senior or managerial role Writing news reports, press releases or marketing materials internal or external communications Dealing with and understanding news media and more specifically sportrelated media and/or communications
Other Requirements
Tertiary Qualification in Journalism, Communications and/or Marketing will be highly desirable, unless you have all the relevant experience Ability to be active on social media during major sporting events Must be able to communicate, write professionally and skilfully, present and convey concepts and principles in professional manner to key stakeholders. Must be able to manage own time and develop effective work schedule. Administratively strong and driven. Other skills must include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Mailchimp, Wikipedia, LinkedIn and General Website Management.
Salary:
R40k R60k basic salary/month, dependent on skills and experience. Incentives are an added benefit.
