Breeder Farm Operations Manager

**Job Advert Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Poultry Breeder Farm Operations Manager to join our Agri team. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our poultry breeder farm operation and meeting set out KPI’s.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Proven experience in poultry breeding farm management, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role.
- A degree in a related field would be greatly beneficial
- Strong knowledge of poultry breeding techniques, genetics, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- **Farm Management**:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring all aspects of the poultry breeder farm are efficiently managed and that all the flocks reach KPI’s in a cost effective manner
- **Animal Welfare**:
Ensure the health, well-being, and proper care is exercised.
- **Staff Leadership**:
Manage and lead a team of farm staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- **Reports**:
Implement and monitor breeding programs, maintaining accurate records and genetic data.
- **Biosecurity**:
Implement and enforce strict biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
- **Facility Maintenance**:
Ensure the proper maintenance of farm infrastructure and equipment.
- **Budget Management**:
Manage the farm's budget, controlling expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
- **Compliance**:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
