My client a leading reagent chemical import and export company is seeking to employ a BDR to join their team. This position report into the Sales Manager
Responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within a given area(s), by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
Definition:
Personally, liaise with Clients, negotiate prices and terms and negotiate and secure contracts. Promote/sell/secure orders from prospective customers through business development and a relationship-based approach
Degree in Sales, Procurement or Supply Chain ManagementMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar roleSolid understanding of sales processes and business developmentKnowledge of reagents and chemicals within the mining industry.Good analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent negotiation and networking skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAptitude in decision making and working with numbersAbility to manage, coach and provide training for direct reportsMust be able to work accurately and within time pressuresTravelling as and when required.

**Salary**:
R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

- Sandton, Gauteng:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Sales within chemical industry:
5 years (required)
- Supply chain and procurement:
3 years (preferred)
