Business Development Specialist : Butchery, East

**We are seeking a Business Development Specialist :
Butchery, for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape**
**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:
- Grade 12 with Business related tertiary qualification beneficial
- Previous meat industry / butchery experience **ESSENTIAL**:
- Previous related sales experience of at least 3 years and track record of meeting targets
- Strong communication skills, hands on approach and valid drivers with own vehicle
**The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:
- Relationship Management - build / maintain strong networks, mentor/assist sales consultants, implement company’s strategic plans
- Portfolio growth - drive product portfolio growth and attract new clients;
create awareness of products and overcome resistance
- New client acquisition - source and engage new clients through various means
- Competitor analysis - conduct regular competitor analysis and stay ahead of competition
- Conduct customer research to identify products and opportunities for growth
