Buyers (Retail/Wholesale/Packaging) JB897 Rietfontein (Pretoria Moot) Market Related A well-established and reputable company in the wholesale/retail packaging industry is seeking to appoint 2 Retail/Wholesale Buyers very urgently.
Diploma/degree from a tertiary educational institute.
3 years? experience as a Wholesale/Retail Buyer in a packing or wholesale environment would be to your advantage
Must have a solid background in retail and industrial purchasing.
Computer literate ? Basic Windows Applications.
Knowledge and experience of Pastel Evolution will be an advantage
Packing product knowledge
Strong administrative skills
Dutiesinclude, but are not limited to:
The Buyer will form an integral part of the Procurement function in the Company.
Placing Orders.
Manage Levels ? Inventory Optimization.
Price negotiations.
Sourcing quality suppliers and stock.
Identifying / sourcing of stock items.
Contact suppliers in writing or by telephone for any queries.
Follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries / special orders.
Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.
Engage with suppliers / colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
