**Field Engineer Technician (Contract)**
Location:
Western Cape | Cape Town
Work mode:
Office based.
Contract role:
6 Months.
**Field-Specific Technical Skills**:
- Cabling:
basic understanding of network cabling.
- Electrical:
understanding basic electrical principles, circuits, and wiring.
- Electronics:
familiarization with electronic components in CCTV and Access Control, circuits, relays and troubleshooting methods.
- Software:
ability to use specific software related to the field, such as CCTV and Access Control software for engineers or medical imaging software for medical technicians.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Ability to identify and diagnose technical problems logically and systematically.
**Education and Qualifications**:
- Matric Certificate.
- Must have relevant least 2 - 3 years’ data cabling experience.
- Experience supporting network equipment and operating systems.
- Good understanding of networking and equipment fundamentals (Ethernet, Cabling standards, TCP/IP).
**Job Types**:
Full-time, Temporary
**Salary**:
R5,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
