Chemical Engineering Intern

**Position Based in Sasolburg, Free State**
Please note that this is an internship Position.
Requirements and duties for the position will include:
- Showing an understanding of Crude oil refining
- Process Engineering skills - mass &
energy balances, adherence process operating guidelines, reading of P&
ID’s, process improvement strategies, fault finding exercises, monitoring of process conditions, technical communication skills
- Microsoft Excel, word and powerpoint proficient
- Monitoring and troubleshooting chemical dosing systems, maintaining stock levels of chemicals for units responsible
- Ensuring good customer relationships are maintained.
- Drawing up of technical reports
- Able to handle a demanding environment
- Compliance with Safety, Health and Environment standards
- Person must have a drivers licence
- Willing to do physical labor such as taking of samples, decanting of chemicals, transporting chemicals to site
Qualifications:
Btech Chemical engineering or BSc Chemical engineering
1-3 years work experience will be advantageous however not required
**Salary**:
R12,000.00 - R14,000.00 per month
