An American company with a global footprint is in search of a Commercial Financial Analyst to join their South African team. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience with a company that is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Cost of sales and profit analysis will be a big part of this function and experience with the aforementioned is non-negotiable.
Job and Company description:
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
Monitor and explain the financial performance of customers
Prepare and manage customer and product profitability analysis and reporting
Important Company guidance on life cycle management and customer business plans
Administer and update customer pricing models
Control all aspects of pricing, including ROI and price modeling
Identify opportunities and strategies to target growth areas
Interrogate customer forecast, explain and question variances in order to ensure a true and fair demand plan
Prepare and manage customer freight and discount reports
Support global reporting and analysis for targeted customers
Improve core commercial finance processes where needed
Prepare and present the monthly S&
OP financial report, highlighting / comment on main drivers and risks, plus planning to mitigate risks
Job Experience and Skills Required:
CA(SA) or CIMA non-negotiable
FMCG experience non-negotiable
Excel Advanced non-negotiable
Knowledge of SAP and Syspro advantageous
