They are currently seeking a skilled Property Paralegal to join their team and support our property loan investment operations.
Job Summary:
As a Remote Property Paralegal, you will play a vital role in the real estate loan investment operations. You will be responsible for conducting property legal searches and analyzing property history to ensure the security and compliance of our loan investments. Your expertise in legal research, property law, and loan documentation will be instrumental in mitigating risks and facilitating smooth transactions.
**Responsibilities**:
Conduct comprehensive legal research and property searches using online databases, public records, and reliable sources to gather pertinent property information.
Analyze property history, titles, deeds, liens, mortgages, and other related documents to assess the validity and security of potential loan investments.
Verify the compliance of loan documentation with applicable property laws and regulations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to obtain necessary property-related information for loan underwriting and due diligence.
Prepare detailed reports and summaries based on property searches and analysis to support loan investment decision-making processes.
Assist in drafting and reviewing loan documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal paperwork, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of property-related information, loan documentation, and due diligence materials.
Stay updated on changes in property laws, regulations, and industry practices to enhance knowledge and ensure compliance in loan operations.
Provide support to the investment team by addressing property-related inquiries and providing expertise in property legal matters.
