**Purpose**
To develop communications strategy, identify, develop and implement communications initiatives which strengthen employee engagement, build internal brand experience, and contribute to the company's Employee Value Proposition.
**Main Responsibilities (not limited to)**:
- To establish, develop and implement an internal Communications Strategy.
- To develop, implement and maintain internal communications procedure and processes, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and implement control processes to mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure alignment of internal communication practices to SARB Communications Policy.
- Manage Communications in the MD Office.
- Ensure relevant reports written at Executive and Board level.
- Prepare or contribute to development of Investment proposal documents.
- Review reports and pre-reads and provide comments on the content.
- To collaborate with human resources (HR) and other relevant stakeholders in building a culture of high performance through internal communications initiatives.
- To develop and maintain internal communications channels, content and processes to promote the SABN’s brand and Employee Value Proposition.
- To create awareness and promote visibility of the SABN brand to stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on relevant communication channels and content that support the SABN strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the ICT department to manage information on the intranet and Internet / digital platforms and digital onsite screens.
- To ensure the intranet page content is up to date and its functionality is maximized as a central platform for staff to connect and obtain relevant business information.
- Develop annual communication plan
- Events Management and coordinate annual business events.
- To research best practice and stay abreast of developments to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in communications.
- To co-ordinate activities and provide advice on communication requirements on ad-hoc projects.
- Collaborate with SARB to manage and coordinate Corporate Social Investment initiatives and implement the annual plan.
- To ensure delivery of Communications projects on time and in budget.
