-The main purpose of this role is to conduct high-quality research and analysis to inform currency management policy and procedures.
-Detailed Description
To conduct research on domestic and international currency developments that might impact the currency management environment.
- to maintain a comprehensive, updated and accurate database on all key stakeholders.
- to analyse data and compile thorough, concise and comprehensive reports on research findings and the implications thereof in respect of currency management.
- to synthesise research and data to develop a view of trends, present to all relevant stakeholders and engage Divisional Heads/ Senior Managers on this information to inform currency management processes.
- to utilise outcomes of research to make recommendations in respect of currency management policy and procedures across the currency management value chain.
- to define business requirements with key stakeholders in order to align research objectives.
Job Requirements
A minimum of a B degree (NQF 7) in an Econometrics / Applied economics or in an analytics field e.G., statistics, engineering, etc) OR equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Research environment.
Additional requirements include:
- Industry and organisational awareness knowledge and skill
- Knowledge of research methodologies.
- Report writing skills.

- Ability to analyse data, interpret and evaluate the results and create reports and presentations.
