SENIOR CONVEYANCING SECRETARY VACANCY
This person will hold a very senior position in the firm, overseeing the work by other team members and providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members. This person will basically be tasked with running the conveyancing department.
It is extremely important to be knowledgeable and highly experienced in conveyancing to fill this position as you will need to run your own transfer files as well as guide other team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 10 years recent experience as a Conveyancing Secretary attending to Transfers
- Computer literate in LexisConvey/E4 and MS Office
- Excellent communication and time management skills
The employee will be responsible for the following tasks as Conveyancing Secretary:
Handling all types of transfer files, independently, from receipt of instruction until registration;
Drafting all documents e.G. FICA, Sale agreements, Pro forma invoices, final accounts;
Obtaining clearance certificates, transfer duty receipts;
Appointment of correspondent’s;
Arrange lodgement, prepand registration
Deal with finances;
Assisting and liaising with clients;
Related duties of aconveyancing secretary;
Providing assistance to junior team members;
Salary will be based on experience and expertise
Position is available immediately.
