**Job Purpose**:
Manage the daily interaction between Customs and business at OR Tambo to ensure timeous resolution of Customs clearance declarations and other legislative requirements. This ensures releases are made available to contribute to timeous cargo delivery meeting customer requirements.

Experience**:
**Qualifications**:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Suitable qualification in terms of Customs Tariff Classification and associated General rules of interpretation, methods of valuation (GATT) and rules of origin (Customs Affairs course) - advantageous.
**Experience**:
- At least 5 years Customs Experience (including Entry drafting would be advantageous).
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Key responsibilities of this role**:
- Allocation of tasks to staff to ensure daily tasks are processed and completed within the specified time frame.
- High level of communication between client and relevant channel and Customs Call Centre.
- General administrative functions, including of scanning of documents and update notes.
**Main activities of this role**:
- Visit other government departments and Customs to obtain release of detained goods.
- Destruction of goods - ensure the process is followed and verify activities and costs with client prior to finalisation.
- Coordination of the following documentation (but not limited to) - DA22, DA68, DA70, DA73 &
CEB01, CBCU's.
- Timeous updating of CargoWise with draw sheets, RIBs.
- Procesing of De-Group RIB's on a regular basis.
- Submit acquittal report to Customs on a weekly basis.
- Timeously attend to Customs stops, detentions, queries and status reports.
- Monitor and maintain vehicle trip and check sheets weekly.
- Attend to storage queries.
- Printing of OGA documents and ensuring release.
- Attend to Customs and OGA stops and queries.
