**Job Description and Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate and oversee third party audits by External auditors, by Certification Bodies or by WOB
- Advise all divisions on the International and Local regulations pertaining to the transport of dangerous goods
- Make available training to all responsible employees w.R.T. regulations and good practice in the transport of dangerous goods
- Ensure that all Divisions develop Process Standards for the safe, compliant transport of dangerous goods
- Ensure that all Divisions develop Process Standards for the safe storage dangerous goods. Must be fully compliant and in line with dangerous goods legislation.
- Verify all the processes for loading and unloading of dangerous goods
- Verify all the immediate measures necessary to be implemented after incidents
- Verify all the measures to prevent (new) accidents/ incidents
- Verify all the subcontractors are legally compliant to handle dangerous good
- Verify the correct implementation of all the operating instructions in the receiving and shipping area
- Verify all the Documents are created properly and required handling equipment is available
- Verify all the Regulations for loading and unloading are respected and controlled
- Develop Divisional Process Standards for the safe, compliant transport of dangerous goods
- Develop and Verify the process for loading and unloading dangerous goods
- Develop the immediate measures necessary to be implemented after incidents
- Develop the measures to prevent (new) accidents/ incidents
- Ensure (monitor) all the subcontractors are legally compliant to handle dangerous goods
- Ensure the correct implementation of all the operating instructions in the receiving and shipping areas
- Ensure all the Documents are created properly and required handling equipment is available
**Education and Experience**:
- **National Diploma / degree in safety management covering risk, safety and health environment, quality and security**:
- **Related environmental qualification (B.Sc. or National Diploma/related environmental degree)**:
- **3 -5 Years’ experience in safety, management systems and compliance
