You will be part of Pfizer-s dynamic Patient &
Health Impact PHI team and will have the important role of managing health economics and outcomes research to generate data to demonstrate the economic and humanistic value of COVID Antiviral assets. The outcome of your studies will provide economic perspective for product reimbursement strategies, Health Technology Assessment committees and regulatory agency submissions. You will work closely with cross-functional e.G. Medical, RWE COE, Global Market Access, Clinical and country teams. As an advisor and an expert, you will be able to build and leverage constructive relationships across the organization to achieve your division-s goals and objectives. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
In partnership with GLocal, Cross-functional and PHI team, develop and implement the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Product Strategy to support the value proposition of Pfizer's oral antiviral for the treatment of COVID-19.
Lead the execution of HEOR studies and projects in alignment with global strategy, such as economic modelling, real world evidence generation and health-related quality of life studies.
Contribute to data dissemination plans and evidence communication through publications and conference presentations.
Support Country Health and Value colleagues in HTA launch readiness and submissions including development of comprehensive global tools such as dossiers and economic models to support pricing and market access;
providing advice or connecting with experts as appropriate.
Support the strategic goals of the Hospital Business to ensure optimal reimbursement and patient access.
Participate in cross-functional workstreams and sub-teams
Ensure timely completion and quality of deliverables as well as budget management
Remain fully compliant to all Pfizer SOPs Standard Operating Procedures.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in health services research, public health, epidemiology, or health economics
8- years
- of demonstrated experience in healthcare environment, preferably pharmaceutical industry or related consulting services, in Health Economics and Outcome Research HEOR and relevant related fields
Advanced methodological skills in economic modelling cost-effectiveness, budget impact and global launch experiencesupporting HTA/reimbursement submissions globally
Capable of coordinating complex real world evidence generation studies with PHI and cross-functional colleagues
In depth understanding of health-related quality of life
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects involving complex processes, significant budget, competing deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities in a compliant manner
Ability to partner and communicate with key members of medical and commercial teams constructively
Skilled in functioning within a matrix organization
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Strong team player
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral degree PhD, PharmD or MD in related field and experience conducting HEOR research
Knowledge and experience in the relevant therapeutic area COVID-19, respiratory diseases
