**ELS Manager (JB4024)**
Chamdor, Krugersdorp
R37 000 to R40 000 a month CTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ELS Manager with an eco-friendly, multi-award-winning company specializing in on-site, dry sanitation toilet systems that operate without the need for water or chemicals. These innovative systems are designed for the benefit of diverse communities and can be installed virtually anywhere. As the ELS Manager, your key responsibility will be to coordinate all aspects of Logistics, Management of ISO9001, Health and Safety, Labour Legislation and staff Management. The company places a strong emphasis on appreciating and celebrating cultural and religious diversity.
**Minimum Requirements**:
Business Management/Project Management diploma
Demonstrated competencies through relevant experience
Experienced in policy and procedure development
Proficient in managing Health &
Safety Policies as per Construction and OH&
S Regulations
Valid Code 08 driver’s license with PDP
Minimum 10 years senior-level management experience
Minimum 5 years in information systems and administration
Background in factory and admin office environments, with fieldwork experience
Willingness to travel occasionally for work
Business administration skills
Strong People management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Information and knowledge-sharing abilities
Proactive and Resourceful
Customer relationship expertise
Previous Dry Sanitation Toilet servicing experience advantageous
Excellent Reporting skills
Proficient in implementing growth strategies
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Managing**:
Manage the ELS department to achieve the strategy set by the board
Manage the ELS services manager
Manage the Field Technicians
Action all management tasks within the agreed deadlines
Conduct quarterly performance appraisals for the ELS services manager and field technicians
Ensure the ELS services manager conducts quarterly performance appraisals with the ELS administration team
Manage external service providers including Bloodhound and Ukasizwa for monitoring and scheduling the services, and SMMEs carrying out the servicing
Work with the sales team on projects, new orders, and potential sales
Work with the Operations Manager in terms of manufacturing, logistics, health &
safety, ISO 9001-2015, staff development, Labour legislation, and plastics main agreement
**Information Systems**:
Work with service providers to ensure they provide the best standard of work
Interrogate the Bloodhound &
Ukasizwa data
Maintain the accuracy of the service/maintenance data
Troubleshoot system errors and come up with solutions
Interrogate the exception reports from Bloodhound and Ukaziswa
Communicate with customers on major issues picked up from the exception reports i.E., not following drawings, not correcting snags, and inspection request forms not correct
Present ELS reports to weekly operations meeting
**Administration**:
Check &
maintain all admin for the ELS administration staff
Collate and authorise supplier invoices for timeous payment
Conduct 6 monthly customer and service provider surveys
Vehicle expense reports
Health &
Safety standards reports
ISO9001-2015 policies &
procedures
Person Development Plans (Staff development)
Training
**SMME’s**:
Appoint SMME’s that meet the Company criteria
Ensure SMME’s are maintaining and following the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Continually develop the SMME’s for levels of professionalism and governance
Hold workshops with SMME’s every 6 months
Terminate SMME’s that breach the SLA
**Finance**:
Manage the ELS department budget
Manage expenses to budget
Correct any problems identified by accounts, with accounts and SMMEs before paying SMMEs
Work with logistics on vehicle, travel expenses and pay cards
**Communication**:
Communicate accurately by being well-informed and checking facts
Resolve customer queries and complaints
Hold weekly department meetings
Ensure the information requested by the sales team is gathered timeously
**Legislated regulations**:
Working with the Operations Manager in maintaining ISO9001-2015 standards to ensure continuous improvement
Working with the Operations Manager in maintaining onsite Occupational Health &
Safety regulations
Working within the Construction Regulation framework (where required)
Waste disposal according to local municipal bylaws
Working within the framework of Enviro Options Policies &
Procedures
