**Equity Analyst**
Our client, a trusted investment partner with investment capabilities spanning globally and private, is looking for an** Equity Analyst** to join their team in their **Stellenbosch** office.
**The Role**:
Enrich the lives of all the client's stakeholders by contributing to the organization's growth and success and deepening our relationships with various stakeholders.
As an Equity Analyst, reporting to the Head of Research, you will service all information requests from existing and potential clients about the company and their products.
As part of the analyst team, you will utilize your experience and communication skills to contribute to fundamental research on listed securities and other reports in excellence - delivering high-quality, consistent, and concise quantitative and qualitative information to clients and consultants.
**Responsibilities**:
Content development and delivery:
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and interpret information requirements.
- Including finalizing commentary with internal stakeholders and data checking.
Interpersonal &
development:
- Knowledge sharing - share and transfer product, process, and systems knowledge to colleagues. Share success stories, trends, and ideas. Bring any issues to the attention of the Head of Distribution Services and resolve these.
- Collaborate and work with teams to deliver required service in excellence. Ensure your performance and growth objectives are achieved by developing your Individual Growth Journey to facilitate personal and professional growth.
**Education and experience**:
- Appropriate finance qualification, eg. CA(SA), Bcom Investment Management, CFA
- BEng or LLB qualification also considered
- 2 - 3 years working in financial markets within the fund management industry.
- 4 - 5 years work experience
- Financial modelling (in Excel)
- PowerPoint proficient

- Being a team player and a good communicator with a belief in strong, open and honest relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. service providers).

- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with automation tools will be advantageous.

R55k - R75k p.M (depending on experience)
