**Summary of Role**:
To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Regional Vice President:
Africa and any ad hoc projects or other duties as may reasonably be requested.
**Accountabilities &
Responsibilities**:
- Undertake general administrative duties
- Prepare expense claims on an adhoc basis for the Regional Vice President, Africa
- Pro-active diary management;
including setting up external and internal video conferences, conference calls, meetings, conferences, events, etc.
- Maintain a diary of all our reporting internal and externally, even regulatory and follow up with managers to ensure they have done the reporting et
- Track and analyse all non financial KPI’s
- Make the necessary diary, catering and accommodation arrangements for internal and external meetings.
- Understand the business cycle and compile reports for the RVP’s review.
- Assist in the preparation of agendas and take minutes for the Africa Advisor Panel, and all sub-committees and other ad hoc working parties/task forces.
- Assist the RVP with Governance of the RAP. Collate information for the Nominations Committee, Governance to present to SLT.
- Take action points for the monthly regional ALT meeting.
- Liaise with Committee/Board Members, staff or other business contacts to clarify arrangements for business meetings.
- Organise, in conjunction with the RVP, the annual Africa Regional staff conference (ie. should we decide to continue with the annual conference).
- Ensure all invoices are directed or received from appropriate individuals, loaded on ERP Oracle system and returned to finance department for processing.
- Maintaining, updating and collating the rewards scheme
- Manning the RAVE interface special pathway inbox for distribution to country managers and business development managers for naturing

- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to balance demands of confidentiality and sensitivity whilst maintaining good working relationships.

- Have the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure, whilst remaining calm and composed.
**Required Experience, Qualifications &
Education**:
- Experience in general PA duties at senior executive level
- Matric
- Post school education such as a degree or executive secretarial diploma
- Computer literate - advanced MS office skills
- Good typing speed - 60 wpm plus
**Preferred Experience, Qualifications &
Education**:
- HR administrative experience is desirable
- The capacity to listen attentively, present information in a clear manner and respond appropriately to the verbal and written communication of others
