External Sales Representative (Steel Industry)

RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced **EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (STEEL INDUSTRY) **for a well-established, growing concern, position based in **Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal.**
Grade 12.
Trade tested Boilermaker (Merseta) graduate or similar experience is **ESSENTIAL**.
Valid driver’s license (company vehicle will be provided).
1yr+ previous external sales experience, reselling of mild steel and tube is **ESSENTIAL**.
Knowledge of the steel and tube retail industry.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Strong trading and negotiating skills.
Target driven.
Person must be willing to travel.
Service new and existing customers.
Reach and exceed sales targets.
Generate quotations for customers.
Build and maintain relationships with customers.
Increase market share.
Offer technical advice to customers.
Follow up on outstanding orders
Work closely with the sales team.
Sales reports (monthly / weekly / quarterly / annual).
Salary package offered:
- Basic salary + commission + company vehicle + fuel allowance + cellphone allowance.
