Fabrication Quality Control Officer

CFAM Technologies, a manufacturer of world-class food and feed processing equipment is looking for a **Fabrication Quality Control Officer**. We are passionate about food security and enable communities to utilize locally produced agricultural products to support food security through extrusion technology. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated individual to join our team.
**Job Description**:
- Ensure that the products and services from the fabrication department meet the quality compliance and standards
- Checking that the fabrication stages adheres to standards and procedures
- Sorting and segregating non-conforming products
- Log and keep records of all non-conformances and rework
- Communicating issues compromising production and quality of products
- Developing systems that promotes quality in Boiler making, tig and mig welding and metal finishing (Material cleaning, glass beading and painting)
- Conduct in-between-process quality inspections
- Inspect all components before being handed to the assembly/machining department
- Optimize strategic process of the fabrication department
- Proposing improvements to the production process
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant tertiary diploma/degree in Quality Management
- Relevant trade and experience in boiler making/welding/metal finishing
- Minimum 5 years experience in Fabrication Quality Control
- Experience in ISO standards is an added advantage
- Experience in Manufacturing environment
