**Tshipise Area - Limpopo**:
Our client is looking for a Farm Manager to join the team.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
- Previous Farm Manager experience essential
- Experience with fruit and game farming
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Strong management and communication skills
- Being maintenance/mechanically orientated
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:
- Ensure that crops are cared for on a daily basis, including water, fertiliser, pest control, harvesting
- Analysing existing operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
- Makes recommendations for operational improvements
- Manage, plan and schedule irrigation ensuring staff understands expectations.
- Manage, plan and schedule pest control and fertiliser programmes and ensuring staff understands expectations.
- Manage, plan and schedule for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations.
- Manage, plan and schedule scouting programmes and capture scouting data and reports.
- Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, livestock, and also to perform tests on soil and water and to perform scouting on trees for any pests.
- Ensuring fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
- Assists in controlling costs associated with crops, supplies, and labour
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
- Ensure compliance of Global Gap and other Audit requirements
- Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
- Collaborating with other staff to prepare operational reports, e.G. scouting reports
- Preparing and submitting requisitions timeously.
- Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.
- Assists with other duties as assigned
- Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.

- Performing general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment
- Ensuring that the office and storerooms in your block are kept clean and tidy
- Planning and scheduling of tasks to ensure that activities are completed within the required timeline

- Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the management of Health and Safety program
- Sign staff in and out
- Capture clocking data
- Address time clocking queries.
- Coordinates and oversees completion of special projects.
- Conducts safety training meetings and ensures employees are working safely
