Fast Food Operations Manager

A Popular Fast Food based company in the Western Cape area is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to successfully manage and lead their operational requirements
**Responsibilities**
- Support company culture by driving and demonstrating the company’s values, vision and mission
- Create and oversee implementation of the operational business plan of the company collaborating with all relevant stakeholders
- Create and oversee implementation of the budget within the margins of the incentive-based guidelines in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
- Continuous analysis of restaurant performance against business plan, performance, incentives and budget
- Identify restaurant performance gaps, develop a feasible action plan in coordination with Area Managers, oversee successful implementation of action plan by coaching and supporting relevant role players, re-assess and review performance and follow up
- Oversee achievement of performance-based incentives with regard to customers, profits, sales and people
- Authorise action plans prepared by Area Managers’ and ensure correct implementation and follow-up
- Oversee maximising of sales and profit through operational excellence and ensure effective implementation of marketing promotions
- Identify and recommend sales growth opportunities, coordinate price changes
- Alert Area Managers to competitive activities within area and make recommendations
- Assess the performance of the Area Managers against established targets, determine gaps in Area Managers performance and implement development plan
- Develop and manage career plan for Area Managers
- Coach and support the Area Managers with implementation of the development plan
- Review plan if necessary and follow up at specified intervals
- Recognise capability issues at store level and advise the respective Area Managers
- Ensure the successful implementation of people capability at store level and monitor performance standards
- Ensure successful implementation of the company’s policies and procedures at all levels (code of conduct, ethics, health, food, stock, banking, etc.)

- **MUST HAVE** Business related Tertiary qualification, with a focus on Business Finance and Marketing
- MBA qualification would be an added benefit
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years Fast Food Operational Manager experience with Multiple Stores (+25 stores) experience
- Must have at least 2 - 3 years Senior Operational Management experience with a reporting structure of at least 4 - 6 Area Managers
- Excellent computer skills - MS Office and POS (point of sale) experience
- Financial acumen - Understand and interpret financial information
- Good communication skills both verbal and written are essential
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the company and stores
- Competency assessment scores as determined by company
- Salary is strictly dependent on technical expertise, qualification and relevant industry experience
