Field service technician (Medical and Laboratory equipment )
Salary range:
R180kpa + Petrol reimbursement for business travel+ cell phone allowance
**Field Service technician**
Primarily focused on servicing, calibrating, repairing, installing, demoing, training and delivering point for care/laboratory equipment and consumables which requires travelling onsite mainly in South Africa and the African continent.
The Technician will be required to be on standby when needed for “call out’s” every 2nd week and will be paid overtime for call outs at X1.5 in the week, X2 on weekends and public holidays compared to their normal hourly rate.
**Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to**
- Repairs, service &
calibration onsite
- Customer technical support
- Annual service scheduling, providing quotation for Annual services ,repairs and calibration.
- Demo products
- Delivery and Installation
- Provide product training to clients - On-site and Virtual
- Following up on PO’s and Payments and update management on all open jobs and status.
- Maintain equipment and tools. Calibrate timeously, monitor service reagent levels
- Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manor.

**Successful incumbents will have**:
- 2 to 5 years’ Technical Field Engineer experience medical /Laboratory equipment.
- Suitable electronics qualification equivalent to National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have the ability to understand, retain and confidently communicate technical product information
- Strong presentation and demonstrations skills
- Own registered vehicle Not Older than 5 years with valid license
- Clear Credit and criminal record
- Valid Passport and credit card
- Valid driver’s license
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination required

**Salary**:
R13,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
