- The role focuses on the Staff Retirement Fund Scheme Benefits. The financial adviser is responsible for advising staff members on their Group Benefits and personal portfolio should the need arise. The adviser plays a crucial role in helping staff members manage their finances wisely, offering advice on Retirement Planning, Investments and overall financial well-being to support a secure and stable future.**Job Category**
- We are looking for a suitably experienced financial adviser to become part of our vibrant and dynamic team. This individual will consult with Discovery Staff members to offer them specialist advice on their Group Benefits and personal portfolios. This role drives ongoing servicing of staff members and as such is remunerated on a non-commission basis.**Key Responsibilities**
- Your tasks will typically involve:
- Meetings with staff members and families
- Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims
- Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
- Completing risk analyses
- Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
- Designing financial strategies
- Assisting clients to make informed decisions
- Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
- Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
- Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments
- Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role
- Educating and advising clients on their Group Benefits
- Provide Guidance on Retirement Planning

**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Minimum
- Financial Industry related Degree ( Finance or Investment degree)
- RE5 qualification - **non negotiable**:
- A minimum 2 years’ experience as a financial adviser
- Pension Fund/ Umbrella Funds - COB 4
- Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
- 2 years experience in Investment Industry
