**Finance Executive Manager**
One of our clients in the retail and hospitality industry, is seeking a Finance Executive Manager. The client is a long-standing, well-established company with the Head Office in Ballito and numerous stores in KwaZulu Natal.
**Job Description (Including but not limited to)**:
- Recognize and follow applicable financial laws and regulations
- Establish and uphold treasury policies and procedures
- Implement and manage the Company’s financial activities, such as financial accounting and reporting to the Board
- Create new and standard accounting practices to increase the effectiveness of financial operations
- Implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and processes
- Ascertain that the predetermined deadlines and objectives are met for financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with the Company’s standards and reporting obligations
- Drive essential financial metrics, including Volume, Revenue, Gross Profit, Operating Income, and Free Cash Flow
- Uphold strong internal controls and ensure statutory compliance
- Provide decisive financial support for all company investments.
- Foster a culture of engagement and growth within the team, aligning with organizational programs
- Develop and manage the Financial budgets;

- Report directly to the CEO and Board on all Financial matters
- Support the CEO and Senior Management with planning and budgeting
- By delivering precise, fast, and trustworthy financial information, you can aid decision-making
- Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly comparisons of income and expenses to the prior year's results and the budget, along with financial justifications and business solutions to reduce risks
- Make sure that every expense is recorded and reported, and effectively handle accruals
- Ensure that the Board, Senior Managers, Store Managers and the Financial team are completely informed of all financial issues that can have daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impacts on the company
- Prepare and present the Financial reports to the Board;

**Qualifications and experience required**:
1. BCom Accounting degree or A Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or Management
Accounting
2. SAICA articles (advantageous)
3. CA(SA)/ Top CIMA/ MBA
**Requirements**:
- Management accounting and financial planning
- Minimum7 years in a senior leadership position in a finance environment
- Minimum 7 years of management experience in retail and hospitality industries
- Profound understanding of Internal Accounting Standards, and Statutory Accounting Systems
- Meticulous attention to detail with a knack for identifying impactful nuances
- Demonstrated business acumen and a track record across functional processes within multinational environments
- Proven experience in leading diverse teams
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking abilities
- Strong grasp of financial key performance indicators
- Excellent communication, people management, and leadership skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel
**Salary**:
From R125,000.00 per month
