**Job description**
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel consumption management and compliance
- Establish efficient routes and transportation schedules
- Vehicle and driver tacking and monitoring
- Vehicles scheduling, planning and client liaising
- Coordinating drivers and on-site general workers
- Ensuring compliance with the service levels and resolving fleet breakdowns
- Managing vehicle licensure, registration and roadworthiness
- Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up to date training
- Monitoring drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driver practices
- Sourcing, hiring and training of new drivers
- Driver inductions
- Providing budget, schedule, maintenance and fleet progress reports to management
- Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
- Incident and claim management and reporting
- Ensure all vehicles meet required company standards and update vehicle inspection sheet
- Responsible to manage wash bay and vehicle cleanliness
- Meet monthly targets set by management
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 / matric
- Relevant tertiary diploma or degree BS in Business administration, logistics, supply chain or relevant (Advantageous)
- 3 years experience gained within logistics / transportation operations environment
- Must be computer literate (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans
- Experience and proficiency in standard logistics software
- Strong data entry skills and attention to details
- Able to prioritize work, delegate and meet deadlines
- Dedicated and hard working
- Analytical mindset and good problem
- solving skills
- Be willing to work long hours
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle

From R18,000.00 per month
