Functional Controller Accounting Specialist

Our client in the automotive sector is seeking a strong Functional Accounting Controller reporting to the Finance Manger to perform the following:
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Bachelor of Commerce professional designation is advantageous e.G. CA SA, SAIPA, CIMA 3 years
- experience will be advantageous Up to knowledge of IFRS accounting framework and tax legislation SAP knowledge as IT pertains to Accounting Function Excellent Computer literacy in MS Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written and verbal Attention to detail and numerical analysis skills Ability to adhere to time constraints MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT TO:
Responsible for monthly and annual accounts in accordance with Group IFRS and South African IFRS Ensurevalidity and completeness of accruals including commercial accruals Prepare the Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS incl. notes Responsible for the General Ledger accounts, reconciling and reporting to Financial Manager Manage the external audit and internal audit process Preparation of ad-hoc reports as required by management Responsible for tax function, including quarterly and annual group tax reporting, and filing all tax returns with the local tax authority Assist with APDP and AIS as required and working capital receipt tracking Ensure effective teamwork and process flow between the different departments and Global Shared Services as required Support treasury with cash management as required
