**STAFF NOTICE - 2023/05/002**
**VACANCY - Fundraising Coordinator**
We require the services of an experienced, Fundraising Coordinator, who will form part Office of the CEO Department.
- Probation period target, being the first 3 months of employment, the incumbent will have to raise a minimum income of R2.7 million.
- Upon successful probation and thereafter the incumbent will raise an income, as approved by St Luke’s Combined
Hospice’s Board, for the 2023/24 financial year of R11.1. million.
- Annually the incumbent will meet income targets as set by St Luke’s Combined Hospices’ Management and as approved by the said Board.
**ENTRY-LEVEL QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
A minimum of combined 5 years’ experience in fundraising, communications creating new and sustaining current relationships;
proven project management;
interactive, effective verbal and written communication.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude
Proven advanced administrative ability.
Advanced computer literacy with experience in database management / MS Office Suite (inclusive of MS Project).
Unendorsed driver’s license
Fluency in at least 2 official languages
Understanding of Palliative care and its role in society would be an added advantage.
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
Create new-, identify potential
- and enhance current corporate and international relationships at executive level with an expressed aim of generating financial wealth as per annual targets.
Compile, submit/present funding proposals - local and international with an expressed aim of generating financial wealth as per annual targets.
Define and develop fundraising strategies and broaden fundraising initiatives in conjunction with the CEO and HODs, with an expressed aim of generating financial wealth as per annual targets.
Reaching and maintaining annually set income and operational targets.
Create &
maintain relationships with all stakeholders (Ambassadors, Donors, Media influencers etc.) with an expressed aim of generating financial wealth as per annual income targets.
Perform other duties in support of team goals.

**SCREENING PROCEDURE**
