Graduate Tourism Industry Analyst, Centurion

Fitch Solutions, a leading emerging markets analysis firm, is recruiting for an **Industry Analyst**, who will focus on** **the** Tourism Sector.** **The role will be based in our Centurion office.
You will be contributing to our market intelligence service, providing analytical research for senior decision makers in multinational corporations, consultancies, government agencies, banks and investment funds.
Responsibilities include:
**Analysis**
- Being the analytical lead for a portfolio of key countries, including taking full ownership of all forecasts and historical data
- Contributing to the daily and quarterly analysis produced by the team
- Contributing to broader research team-wide projects and initiatives
- Thinking creatively, with a keenness and ability to formulate forward looking, high conviction views
**Commercial**
- Being client facing, with the ability to represent the team and deliver views and forecasts in a concise and articulate manner during client engagements as well as at industry events. Be a brand ambassador for our research and company
- Being commercially minded and understanding how research and data is used by our clients and forward-thinking in coming up with new ideas of how we could commercialise our content
**Qualifications and experience**:
Key skills and experience requirements include:
- Any experience working in positions of analysis and research, including experience writing around data forecasts and industry trends.
- Ability to work with and analyse large data sets
- Familiarity analysing connections between industry, political and macroeconomic risk
- Experience in Tourism research and/or analysis highly desirable.
- Interest in working in a Connected Thinking environment that encourages cross-industry analysis
- Ability to cope with time pressure and deadlines
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strong public speaker
- Excellent and proactive communicator
