Head: Customer Solutions
This role is accountable for setting the go-to-market strategy, defining the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) to achieve targeted positions in target markets. The use of both internal and external analytics is used to identify which customer segments we should be operating in to support the overall strategy. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through a team of specialists over periods of up to 3 years. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Requirements Relevant degree essential i. E. Commerce (Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Actuarial, Accounting, IT) Non negotiable BBusSc/ EconSc Min 5 years of experience in strategy (or equivalent experience in a relevant strategic role) Minimum of 3 yearsmanagement experience, engaging with senior leadership Previous experience in Strategy, Customer Value Proposition, Marketing is a definite advantageKRA's Define and implements the framework for go-to-market strategy and CVP Define the go-to-market strategy for customer segments, target markets and their propositions including all elements of the business that need to align to the CVP, which includes positioning, product, distribution and servicing. Conducts customer research and analysis, including Customer channel preferences, ensuring execution on findings. Ensure market research and data is incorporated into CVP's, Customer Strategies and Marketing strategies. Ensures on-going refining of the CVP based on market and customer insights. Guides strategic definitions and alignment of organisations customer strategies such as lead customer segmentation and customer experience. Identification and resolution of innovative solutions to enable identified customer preferences. Guides Customer Solutions on the CVP articulation across the go to market elements. Influences and consults across the value chain to ensure goal alignment. Tracks on-going goal alignment through CS scorecards with capability partners Alignment and tracking of CS functional scorecards to ensure effectiveness of go-to-market strategy. On-going review of roadmap delivery to go-to-market articulation. Ensure that customer strategy and targets are deployed and tracked by customer segment, with national, regional and distribution channel lens. Delivers fit-for-purpose strategic updates to relevant forums End to end project oversight, for deployment and execution for key Customer Solutions projects. Negotiates and sets customer segment target with supply. Tracks and manages the value of market segments, seeking opportunities to increase the profitability of market segments and identifying new market segments that are profitable.
