**Job Purpose**
- To execute on Nedbank Corporate Investment Bank (NCIB) People strategy and manage the HR team effectively in order to deliver on People strategic plans that enable business strategic objectives;
thereby ensuring sustainable human capital and business transformation.**Responsibilities**:
- Meet stakeholder requirements by delivering HR solutions customized to business requirements
- Contribute to the People Strategy by providing feedback based on changes in the industry
- Execute on the NCIB People Strategy by partnering with Business stakeholders
- Embed the values of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) into the heart of our day-to-day culture by executing on the DEI strategy
- Maintain stakeholder engagement by building effective business partnerships
- Support the Business Unit (BU) Executive and HR executive to ensure that all HR deliverables and requirements are met
- Develop a workforce plan for the BU to ensure that we have the right workforce, in the right shape, with the right capabilities, at the right time and cost
- Build Learning journeys and develop BU specific Learning Programmes in partnership with the Organisational, Effectiveness and Talent (OET) team
- Implement CIB Wellness Programmes and roll out relevant OD initiatives within the BU
- Enable the integrated talent framework by building diverse talent pools in line with DEI objectives and implementing NCIB reward, recognition, succession and retention strategies
- Identify talent pools in conjunction with line managers through conducting career conversations and utilising the talent grid principles and implementing talent retention programmes
- Ensure transformational targets are met through recruitment, retention and training process and utilising preferred suppliers
- Ensure implementation of appropriate performance management processes throughout the division to instill a high-performance culture
- Share knowledge and leverage on solutions through networking and collaboration with the relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to the formulation of the budget by considering the strategic plans in line with required expenditure
- Manage and identify key operational and business risks by assessing risk areas against legislation, policies and procedures
- Essential Qualifications- Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
- Preferred Qualification- Masters Degree
- Minimum Experience Level- 10 years HR experience including experience in managing a team
- Preferred understanding and exposure to working and understanding the people (hr) challenges and opportunities within a technology/digital environment within financial services
- Experience in leading the people change in businesses undergoing transformational business change.
