Our client a well-known transport and logistics company is looking for a HR Payroll Generalist to join their team in Johannesburg Overall Role Function The overall objective of the HR Payroll Generalist is to manage the HR Payroll needs at branch level Responsibilities HR queries Assist staff with all leave payroll and HR queries Assist management with any HR related documentation Work confirmations Setting up of all HR communications to staff Payslips Receive print and distribute payslips Assist staff with access to ESS to view their own payslips IOD claims OHS Incident reports Administration of IOD incidents Submitting to IOD Claims Officer Head Office Terminations Completing all documentation for terminations Personnel files Updating of all personnel files Filing of HR and other administration documentation Pension fund Assisting staff to complete pension fund documentation for submission to Head Office Assisting staff with pension fund queries IR Labour and Unions Manage member queries Monthly schedule and membership compliance CCMA Represent company at CCMA hearings Disciplinary hearings Administrate schedule witness or chair disciplinary hearings Conclude sequence process and documentation as well as record keeping Timesheets Screening comparisons and corrections Submission to Head Office Leave Manage ESS Capturing Impersonation Filing Calendar for all leave taken and planned Assist with workforce planning New employees Recruiting screening interviewing and placing workers EMPs scheduling induction Employee contracts People Career development administration Succession planning assistance HR change management Communicate train and refresh policy and procedures Incentives Attendance records Rewards tracking Manning statistics Qualifications Matric Computer literacy MS Office Outlook Advanced studies Tertiary Diploma Degree advantageous Experience Minimum of 2 years experience Specific industry experience beneficial Personal qualities Excellent administrative skills Excellent communication skills Able to work well with a team and under pressure Must be diligent and time competent in order to meet deadlines Must be client service focused internal clients staff Must be honest reliable and trustworthy Be willing to work flexible hours Be willing to perform duties on weekends Languages required English and Afrikaans Languages desirable Zulu Xhosa Location Johannesburg The salary range is R15 000 R18 000 per month Starting date As soon as possible Please forward your CV to be considered for this position if you meet all the requirements Please assume that your application was unsuccessful if you do not receive any feedback within 2 weeks
