**Description**:
- Chairing disciplinary hearings
- Participating and guiding disciplinary processes
- Ensure discipline is applied consistently and fairly
- HR representative at the NBCRFLI, CCMA, etc.
- Engaging with staff and trade unions on IR and employee related issues
- Employee relations - implementation of company policies
- Providing IR support in operations department
- Conduct performance counselling processes
- Promote employee engagement
- Handling and resolving IR related enquiries
- Monitor compliance to company policies and procedures
- Participate in HR and ad hoc projects
- Driver/Employee complaints and grievances
- Manage employee performance and upskilling (Monthly and quarterly)
- BEE, Skills development, and Employment Equity management
- Recruitment (Interviews and forecasting)
- HR Audit preparations (Internal and External)
- Compliant with Occupational health and safety act (Measures in place)
- Compliant with Compensation for occupational injuries and diseases act (Measures in place)
- Payroll administration
**Qualifications**:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant Tertiary Diploma / Degree in Human Resources
- B. Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology
- 3 - 5 Years’ experience in Logistics / Transportation environment
- Registration as an IR Specialist Practitioner with SABPP will be an added advantage
- Able to deal effectively with all levels of staff incl senior management
- Experience working with trade unions
- Experience with Conciliations and Arbitrations
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Good conflict handling skills
- Passion for dispute resolution
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle
