The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, payroll, employment contracts, health and safety, administration, employment equity, COIDA and reporting not limited to.
The overall function is to support US Contact Centre employees.

Principal Accountabilities
- Competent in HR systems and related legislation,
- Computer literate (Ms Word, Ms Excel &
power point) for the role including HR Systems
I.E. Pay space (Human Resources Information System)
- Keep accurate and complete Labour information;
- Manage HR filing and other employee records through HR Information system - Pay space
- Assist in establishing EE/Skills development committee and compilation of EE
- Effective systems management of all Human Resources functions / processes;
Good employee relations
- Maintain up-to-date information on people movement including incapacity, promotions, and transfers;
- Submission of weekly and monthly reports;
Timeous submission of payroll inputs;
- Assist in overseeing entire administration of employee's life cycle in SA
- Recruitment &
Probation Management
- Exit and Stay Interviews
- KPI process and continues performance management - Monitor process
- Recruitment - Drafting and approving contracts internally - Monitor process, checks (vetting), sign off recruitment packs for each employee before appointment for compliance and audit purposes-own the process
- Collation of reports
- Disciplinary hearings:
Observation of proceedings, formulating of charges, ensuring consistency - representation at CCMA
- Employee engagement (at all levels)
- Any other assigned responsibilities related to the above
- Present a professional and favorable image of the Company at all times.
Job Specific Capabilities and Experience:
Experience
Essential:
Matric
Minimum of a National Diploma in Human Resources Management/ Labour Relations
Human Resources Degree will be an advantage
Minimum of 3 years' discipline specific experience ER/ IR Knowledge
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft Power-point
