Incoming Orders Quality Controller

Job Description
- Responsible for receiving the incoming stock (equipment, parts, materials etc.)
- Responsible for inspecting the incoming stock (equipment, parts, materials etc.)
- Ensure stock is QC checked, marked &
binned correctly in thestore or bin location &
updated on JIRA System that the stock has been delivered
- Generate QR quotes for stock delivered
- Update location status of the stock on JIRA system
- Ensure accurate packing of stock into the correct location area/shelves
- Ensure accurate picking of stock according to picking list and/or Bill of material (BOM)
- Ensure timeous picking of stock required for machining, fabrication and assembly
- Update on JIRA a Works Order that is ready for machining or fabrication or assembly
- Expedite the delivery of the outstanding stock to fulfill bill of materials
- Handle internal projects stock transfers
- Flag and liaison with the responsible persons to sort out any issues with stock ordered vs stock required per BOM or per picking list
- Oversee the storage of projects specific stock
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Important:
Knowledge of electric motors, gearboxes, bearings, seals, fasteners, steel materials etc
- Technical Qualification is an added advantage
- Certificate/Diploma in Stock Management and Control
- 2 years experience in similar position
- 2 years experience in manufacturing environment
