The purpose of the Claims Advisor is to utilise your passion for animals to ensure a smooth process and positive claims experience for our clients, their pets and vets.
Primarily responsible, although not limited to managing complex claims until completion. A Claims Advisor is seen as a hard-working individual, willing to go the extra mile for our customers. You will communicate with our customers on a daily basis through all mediums and liaise with the Client Service Team and Claims Assessors to ensure all claim decisions are made in a correct and timely manner.
Formal qualification in Vet Nursing
Fluent in English
Understanding of insurance claims and business requirements.
Demonstrate drive and willingness to adapt to change.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Professional and empathetic phone manner.
Excellent writing skills.
Tendency to ask “why?” and an ability to identify and propose workable solutions.
Reliability and dependability (work attendance)
**Desirable**:
Previous experience in an insurance claims environment.
Ability to support in the mentoring, training and development of staff
**Essential**:
Experience in the veterinary field - small animals
Demonstrated history of meeting performance baselines.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and customers.
