job description

Multipurpose role comprising of technical service, customer support and warehouse administration
Office based, holding the fort for our mobile local South African team
Daily communication via phone email with coworkers, customers and other internal departments to deliver a complete package to customers
Manage the administration of the service process, which will include responding to enquires, writing letters, emails and maintaining the SAP database
Provision of technical service to customers including
O Technical diagnosis and repair of all ultrasound, Xray and medical equipment
O Occasional site visits to customer premises or exhibitions may be required
O Delivering quotes and service call updates to customers
Goods In day to day receiving goods, booking into SAP system
Goods Out day to day packing of finished or service goods and despatch
Couriers arranging tracking deliveries, managing pickups and all associated costs. Previous experience of working with couriers advantageous but not essential
Assisting the Account managers with quotes and emails to customers and other general admin
Promote IMV imaging values to all customers, clients and staff

Ability to think practically and logically and put theory into practice technical
Ability to work independently essential
Accuracy and attention to detail even when working under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dynamic team player who can multitask
Own transport drivers license essential
Willingness to travel as needed local and international, passport required
Education experience
Ideally a graduate qualified in suitable electricalelectronic discipline
Customer service experience within a technical environment would be preferable
Good understanding of IT systems
Previous customer facing experience desirable
Previous experience in a service environment will be considered
Previous exposure to SAP business management system or similar systems would be advantageous
