The Laboratory Technician position is a permanent position in a laboratory environment based in Wellington. This position will be a hands-on role that will form part of the Process Engineering Department.
Main duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the preparation of samples. Perform routine tests and analyses. Accurately maintaining records. Perform quality control. Assist with the maintenance of laboratory equipment and stock of laboratoryconsumables. Practice general housekeeping and safe work habits. Assist with the investigation of customer complaints and management of returned products. Assist with basic administrative and logístical tasks. Assist in production tasks when required such as stock counts, batch building, sampling, inspections, stock counts, waste management, and operating of machines.
Secondary duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assist with R&
D projects as required. Assist with product development. Assist with pilot plant tests and small-batch buildings. Ad hoc tasks.
