TEMP 6 MONTH CONTRACT - LEGAL COLLECTIONS OFFICER - DURBAN CENTRAL An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualifications and experience to assume the position of Legal Collections Officer within Credit Collections Division The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include Institute foreclosure proceedings on Mortgage Bonds with Attorney Panel Institute litigation for Section 65 Emoluments attachment orders Institute Section 127 b for vehicles as well as prepare to litigate Institute litigation with External Debt Collection Agents Prepare Certificate of balance and instructions to proceed with litigation Collate supporting documentation which may include valuations copies of title deeds Mortgage bonds and Loan Agreements Manage the security items in a Security register Maintain files and correspondence on legal portfolio Obtain monthly reports from Service providers and update and maintain records Negotiate settlement offers and formalise arrangements Report on all defended and complex litigation monthly Manage turnaround times with Service providers The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position Grade 12 Diploma in Paralegal Commercial or Administration A minimum of five 5 years legal collection experience in a financial institution environment Minimum of three 3 to five 5 years experience in Collections or Credit Management including Vehicle repossession Knowledge of Legal proceedings on Mortgage Vehicles and Unsecured debt Good client services skills Good Interpersonal skills Self-management and communication skills Negotiating and networking skills Analytical and problem solving skills Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Please send cv s to roshant nullaffirm co za
