**Key Performance Areas**
Strategy Development and Implementation
- Provide reports and analysis to support and contribute to the development of the sub functional digital strategy in line with the overarching business goals
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to enable the regular review of the sub-functional strategy, roadmap, and performance to ensure its alignment with the changing dynamics of the internal and external ecosystem
Operational Delivery
- Define business problem statements, opportunities or constraints based on understanding of the current state. Conduct pre-session research to understand business case motivating factors, business objectives and desired future state
- Conduct risk analysis in understanding the risks associated with achieving the future state and mitigation strategies;
develop project scope and define boundaries
- Analyse &
simplify business requirements/strategic objectives with key stakeholders
- Identify stakeholders who will have the responsibility and authority to make decisions about business analysis work including who will be responsible for setting priorities and who will approve changes to business requirements
- Facilitate workshops (e.G. whiteboard sessions) with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyse and elicit requirements
- Lead design or design thinking sessions through (1) Problem Definition, (2) Research &
- Requirements gathering, (3) Ideation, and (4) Prototype Designs
- Brainstorm ideas and activities that will be performed across initiatives including who will perform the activities, the timing and sequencing of the work, the deliverables that will be produced and business analysis technique that may be utilised
- Capture information in a format that is specific to elicitation activity e.G. user stories, customer journeys, prototypes, etc including As-Is and To-Be Business Processes, and reporting requirements
- Structure ideas and generate requirements documents defining solutions
- Produce Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure requirements have a clearly defined relationship to other requirements solution components, or releases or phases or iterations, within solution scope
- Prioritise user, business and technical requirements, in the form of user stories, to ensure that the highest valued requirements are addressed first
- Assess requirements changes, obtain recommendations to approve, modify or deny a proposed change to requirements
- Design and document business solutions (process, system and measurements) that meet current and future requirements
- Work with UX, Analytics, and partners to share recommendation on product improvement &
investigate complex problems
**Education**:
- 4-year Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science or related field
- Masters in business administration is advantageous
**Experience**:
- 5 years or more relevant work experience in digital products development &
implementation and managing and implementing innovative digital products and within the Telco, financial or banking industry
- At least 2-3 years experience in Experience in Mobile or Web development
- Deep understanding of the Digital ecosystem, players, business models and financial sector or banking industry related best practices
**Experience**:
- Good understanding of new technologies that are now arising in the digital space like
- Big Data-Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning
- Experience using Javascript frameworks (ReactJS, Bootstrap, Emberjs) and /or w/hybrid mobile frameworks (e.G NativeScript, Cordova, Ionic, Xamarin, and/or React Native with native plugins on iOS &
Android)
- Familiarity with data-oriented libraries like D3. Experience interfacing with modern
- APIs, including REST, JSON, GraphQL etc. Experience using frontend engineering build systems (webpack)
