You will be joining the Market &
Valuation Risk Management MVRM - Valuation Control VC Team, a centralised function of valuation and risk professionals within the Chief Risk Office CRO responsible for the independent valuation of fair value/ trading positions for Deutsche Bank. The remit covers market consistent modelling and valuation of all Fair Value positions. VC acts as internal advisor on valuation issues and operates as a centre of excellence for valuation, reserving, day 1 recognition and prudent valuation. The VC team is based in London, Mumbai, New York, and Singapore.
You will be responsible for operation and oversight of Global Financing and Credit Trading GFCT wide control and governance processes which are an area of intense focus for the Banks Regulators and in most instances, feed directly to Deutsche Bank-s externally disclosed financial results. Through these responsibilities and ad-hoc project work there is ample opportunity to gain experience and be involved in the core Independent Price Verification IPV and Prudent Valuation process performed by the global team.

Your key responsibilities
Operation and oversight of Day1 revenue recognition controls and governance
Responsible for IPV marketdata and risk exposure completeness controls
Driving Quarterly Fair Value Levelling process and reporting
Owning the market data breach exception process across all regions
Managing relationships and driving Global projects with all VC locations
Your skills and experience
Strong cash and derivative valuations experience;
preference for Credit product knowledge
Understanding of accounting and prudent valuation requirements, best practice and market developments
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to team members, peers and senior stakeholders
Accounting and or Risk Management qualification:
Associate Chartered Accountant, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager and/ or Masters of Sciences in Finance or equivalent work experience
