Media Sales And Expo Manager

Paper Plane Publications is a young and vibrant company, currently expanding on our offerings. We are an independant publisher owning a few incredible magazine titles, brands and an annual trade show
- Our brands service the design, architecture and interiors sectors.
We currently have capacity to onboard 1 Media Sales Manager, set to join our team based in Cape Town’s CBD.
**ABOUT YOU**:
Are you an accomplished salesperson? Are you comfortable spending your time on the phone connecting to potential clients? Do you have an ability to prospect consistently on the phone, in person, and at trade events? Are you presentable, professional and a perceived asset to our company?
Knowledge of the media industry, conferencing sales and a track record of solid media sales with renowned brands is preferred, but not required if you have a proven history of sales success in a complex selling environment for 2 years minimum. Are you well-spoken, well-written, confident and a good researcher? Are you accustomed to tracking your sales behaviour and are you comfortable meeting and exceeding targets?

**Requirements**:
- Diploma, Bachelors Degree, or similar
- Proven sales experience in selling print advertising space
- Lead generation and effective in winning new business.
- A willingness to continuously identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Passion for selling and target-driven.
- Outstanding written, verbal, editing and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to pitch to key decision-makers with little guidance
- Ability to track your own sales and work autonomously without being micromanaged
**Salary**:
R16,500.00 - R18,500.00 per month
