**Medical Officer (Investigator of Record)**
**East London - 3-year fixed term contract (non-profit organization)**
**Must be able to start in September**
MBChB and HPCSA registration as a medical practitioner (independent practice).
3 or more years’ work experience in the clinical research environment.
Proven experience as a Principal Investigator/Investigator of Record for at least 1 clinical trial that were successfully started and fully enrolled.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge.
Valid Code 08 Drivers License.
Excellent ability to build interpersonal relationships.
Strong client focus.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Strong work ethic and integrity.
Detail oriented and capable of completing study documentation legibly and accurately.
Able to perform clinical admin tasks which forms a significant part of the job.
Willing to work flexible hours and weekends if required.
**Advantageous**:
Valid Code 08 Drivers License
Valid ACLS certificate

Clinical Procedures
Protocol Specific Procedures
Clinical trial project management
Managing Data Integrity and Patient Safety Quality control

R83,333.00 - R125,000.00 per month
