This is a specialist position that reports directly to Team Leader:
Medical Underwriting. The role is accountable for the assessment and execution of a compliant and effective medical underwriting function in support of mainly sales from a medical underwriting perspective, but it includes support to claims and
Service functions. Key responsibilities include:
Assess and execute medical underwriting to support:
o Telephonic support for sales
O Review of referred underwriting quotes;
o Facilitating communication of medical declines to clients;
o QC/QA referrals
O Client policy amendments with underwriting changes/impact (Servicing)
O Claims process
