**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant appropriate tertiary qualification would be an added advantage.
- VIP PREMIER (Payroll software). (Payroll, HR Administration and Employment Equity.) Essential
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll administration and related support components
- Business and commercial acumen with strong financial abilities
- Leadership and people-development skills
- Reasonable HR and IR knowledge (BCEA and Labour Law)
**MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Pastel Accounting - Must be able to process Cashbooks, Bank Reconciliations, General Journals and Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.
- Reconcile EMP201 reports for both payrolls and submit via the E- filling SARS system for payment before the 7th of each month
- Monthly updating and reconciling of SARS statement and payroll tax submission schedule to prepare for mid and yearend tax submission
- Print and save yearend and annual tax report on share drive
- Correcting Tax errors on Payroll before importing on the SARS Easy-file system
- Reconciliation of IRP5’s on SARS Easy file system and submission to SARS on E-Filling
- Submit EMP501 declaration on the SARS Easy-file system
- Deal with Tax consultants regarding submitting queries and errors and system updates
- Check for IT88 notices for tax garnishee payroll deductions
- Submitting annual EMP201 submission, proof of payments and payroll reports for BEE report completion
- IRP5 requests from ex-employees and current employees
- UI19 and salary schedule requests for terminated employees
- Assisting with Certificate of Service and Confirmation of employment
- Telephonic confirmation of employment
- Managing employee benefits
- Compile annual salary budget, benchmarking and increases
- Submit all statutory Payroll returns, PAYE, UIF and SDL on a monthly basis and WCA at year end
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must demonstrate interest in self-development by attending and participating in training offered by the company as and when required
- Accountability and responsibility
- Ensuring that the entire monthly payroll duties are performed
- Ensuring that all required statutory returns and payments are performed
- Ensuring all administrative duties as assigned
- Maintaining standards
- Ensure that the complete payroll function is consistently performed and that all deadlines are achieved
- Application of policies for the operation within the Hospital Industry
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant statutes, statutory bodies, rules and regulations, disciplinary code, staff employee manuals
